Answer: It connects to wifi not your phone unless that is your wifi and it should work fine.

Question: Is this compatible with a Blackberry?

Answer: The COOAU camera supports Android and Ios, not support Blackberry.

Question: Does it work with iPhone?

Answer: Yes, the COOAU camera is compatible with iOS/Android and Mac/iPad/Windows.

About the APP:

Question: Does this camera work with the cloud edge app? I have other COOAU cameras that do.

Answer: Nope, this camera just works with MIPC.

Question: Can I download recorded videos from the app?

Answer: Yes

Question: What app does it use?

Answer: COOAU camera uses the MIPC app, you can add at most 32 cameras into the app simultaneously.

Question: Is the app user-friendly and secure?

Answer: Yes, there are some customized settings in the MIPC app, and the password is needed to access the camera video.

Answer: The COOAU camera has cloud storage, and below is the price list for it. It uses the MIPC app.

About setting operation:

Question: Can anyone view the sd card on a windows 10 pc? when I insert the card, I got a message saying that it must be format before using it!

Answer: If you are using an SD card with files or data already on it, you may need to clear the card & then format it. Otherwise, should just be plug & play.

Question: How would this work with checking on pets during the day. How does it work?

Answer: The camera is active all the time, you just access the icon on your phone, pc, laptop, or tablet and check the area. You can set it up also with motion detection. You can listen and talk to the cats while you have the app open.

Question: I have no experience setting this up, is the instruction manual easy to understand?

Answer: Yes, the motion detection sensitivity can be adjusted and you can schedule the detection time ( differentiated by Day and Night).
